Unmanned aerial systems (UAS) specialists Kolibri Defence, renowned for advanced drone design, production and pilot training, through the Kolibri Drone Academy, have formed a new joint venture with ESOX Group, leaders in intelligent defence technologies and electrified propulsion systems.
The partnership, announced at the launch of Kolibri's flagship UAV product Kolibri-X will focus on the development of an application-specific high-power drone motor, engineered to deliver exceptional torque, efficiency and reliability for the next-generation of UAS.
Combining Kolibri's expertise in FPV and tactical drone performance with ESOX's advanced motor technologies and defence-grade engineering capability, the collaboration aims to redefine propulsion standards in high-demand operational environments.
This strategic alliance forms part of a wider programme to enhance European-sovereign defence capability through integrated innovation in automation, electrification and intelligent systems.
